In English we have only 26 letters whereas in
tamil we have 247 letters
If we
speak English we use our prana in 26 ways if we speak tamil we use prana in 247
ways . which itself will have the effect
of pranayama.
Tamil has 12 vowels and 18 consonants, the
remaining
letters are derived from the compound tableshown
below. Tamil defines vowels and consonants as Uyir Ezhuthu, Mei Ezhuthu meaning
Soul letters,Body
letters respectively. As the name implies this embeds a deep spiritual concept
in it.
‘Uyir’ in Tamilmeans literally ‘Life’ but metaphysically means ‘Soul’
and that includes ‘Life’. ‘Mei’ means ‘PhysicalBody’.
The
vowels and consonants combine together to form the vowel-consonant alphabet
called theSoul-Body letter (Uyir-Mei Ezhuthu). Metaphysically this means the
Soul gives life to the body andbecomes a living being, so the vowels activate
the consonants to produce conjugants.
Soul + Body =Life.
This shows how your speech has greater effects on our lives and others
